Horn Relay: Description and Operation
HORN SYSTEM

DESCRIPTION
The horn circuit consists of a horn switch, clockspring, horn relay, horns and Body Control Module. The horn switch is a membrane switch located in
the airbag cover. The horns are located forward of the left front wheel behind the bumper fascia.
OPERATION
The horn relay plugs into the power distribution center which is located in the engine compartment.See: Relays and Modules - Power and Ground

switch is "CLOSED" for more than 30 seconds. Once the switch is "OPEN", A 20-30 second delay will occur before the horns are functional again.
