Antenna: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the luggage compartment rear quarter trim panel.
3. Unscrew and remove the top half of the mast antenna.
4. Remove the antenna cap nut and the rubber grommet.
5. Disconnect the antenna cable.
6. Remove the nut and the mast antenna.
Installation Procedure
NOTE: Dissimilar jar metals in direct contact with each other may corrode rapidly. Make sure to use the correct fasteners to prevent premature
corrosion.
