Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/ Engine Control Module (ECM): Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the passenger seat. Refer to Seats.
3. Disconnect the powertrain control module (PCM)/engine control module (ECM) connectors.
4. Remove the PCM/ECM from the ECM/ECM mount.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the PCM/ECM in place.
2. Install the PCM/ECM to the PCM/ECM mount.
3. Connect the PCM/ECM connectors.
4. Install the passenger seat. Refer to Seats.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Perform a crankshaft position system variation learning procedure. Refer to "DTC P1336".
