ABS Light Relay: Service and Repair
LAMP DRIVER MODULE
The lamp driver module is taped to the Antilock Brake System (ABS) wiring harness between the heater/air distributor case and the firewall.
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right-side kick panel.
3. Remove the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) from its mounting bracket.
4. Remove the EBCM mounting bracket.
5. If the green-colored lamp driver housing is taped to the harness in an area behind the sheetmetal, cut the tie strap that fastens the wire harness near
the EBCM so that the wire harness can be pulled enough toward the passenger compartment to gain access to the lamp driver housing.
6. Untape the green-colored lamp driver housing from the Antilock Brake System (ABS) wiring harness.
7. Open the lamp driver module cover.
