Key Interlock
KEY INTERLOCK
Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the upper and the lower steering column cover panels.
Important: Be careful when removing the key interlock solenoid. There is a plunger with a spring attached that can easily become lost.
3. Disconnect the key interlock solenoid electrical connector and remove the key interlock solenoid screws and the key interlock solenoid.
4. Remove the side cover on the instrument panel.
