Oil Pump: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the timing belt.
3. Remove the rear timing belt cover. Refer to Timing Belt; Testing and Inspection.
4. Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.
5. Remove the oil pan.
6. Remove the oil pump pickup tube and support bracket bolts.
7. Remove the oil pump pickup tube.
8. Remove the oil pump retaining bolts.
