Campaign - Post Heated O2 Sensor Wiring Inspection

Product Update Inspection

Subject:
Leganza Post Heated Oxygen Sensor Wiring

Date: March 16,1999

Number: PU-004-99

A possibility exists that the Post (rear) Heated 02 Sensor wiring for some Leganza models may become damaged through contact with the front engine
mount bracket.

To prevent this condition from occurring, the following conduit installation procedure has been developed to provide additional protection for the Post
H02 Sensor wire harness.

This procedure should be performed on all vehicles currently in inventory before they are delivered to a customer. Customer vehicles should be updated
during their next service visit.

Update Procedure:

1.

From the engine compartment, disconnect the Post H02 Sensor Wire Harness Connector.

2.

Using needle-nose pliers, release the retaining clip and remove the Post H02 Sensor Connector from its mounting bracket.

3.

Inspect the wiring harness for damage and repair or replace as necessary.

4.

Starting just behind the connector, install the plastic conduit over the Post H02 Sensor Wiring.
