Air Door Actuator / Motor: Service and Repair
Heater/Defroster Door Motor
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the Aircon cover. Refer to Instrumentation / Driver Information
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the actuating rod by snapping it out of the lever with needle-nose pliers.
5. Remove the motor lever from its shaft by pulling the lever off.
6. Remove the motor retaining bolts.
7. Remove the heater/defroster door motor.
