Shift Solenoid: Service and Repair
2-3 Shift Solenoid
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the transaxle side cover.
2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the 2-3 shift solenoid (305).
Notice: Use a small screwdriver to remove the retainer clips. Be careful not to score the valve body when re- moving the retainer clips.
3. Remove the solenoid retainer clip (304) from the valve body.
4. Remove the 2-3 shift solenoid (305).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the 2-3 shift solenoid (305) into the valve body.
2. Install the retainer clip (304) into the valve body.
3. Connect the electrical connection to the 2-3 shift solenoid (305).
4. Install the transaxle side cover.
