Front Engine Cover

Remove the right front engine under cover.
Supporting Engine
14.
Support the oil pan with a garage jack. Slightly jack up the engine so that no excessive force may be applied to the front mountings.
NOTE:

Place a wooden block between the jack and the engine.

Care must be exercised to ensure that the wooden block is not interfering with the oil drain plug.

Be careful not to deform the oil pan.
Front Mounting Bracket
15.
Removal of front mounting bracket.
(a) Remove the nuts attaching the front mounting bracket to the front mounting.
WARNING: Protect your eyes by wearing protective glasses.

(b) Remove the three bolts attaching the front mounting bracket to the cylinder head.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the oil filler hose.
