Cold Start Injector: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove injector connector.

3.

Remove injector union bolt.

4.

Remove injector delivery pipe union bolt.

5.

Remove fuel hose.

6.

Remove cold start injector pipe.

7.

Remove cold start injector from surge tank.

8.

Reverse procedure to install, using a new gasket and torque injector to 2.9-5.1 ft. lbs. and torque delivery pipe to 8.7-11.8 ft. lbs.
