Wiper Motor: Testing and Inspection

1.

Ensure wiper motor is grounded properly, then remove wiper connector and connect terminal L of connector to positive battery, Fig. 3.

2.

Connect terminal LW to negative battery. Wiper motor should operate.

Disconnect terminal LW from negative battery. Ensure wiper stops at automatic stopping position, Fig. 4.

Connect terminal L to positive battery, terminal LB to negative, Fig. 5. Motor should operate intermittently.

Disconnect terminal LB from negative battery terminal. Ensure motor stops at automatic stopping position.
