SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Door moves on cam bushing as door is opened or closed.
DIAGNOSIS:
Visually inspect the door hinge area if the bushing has fallen out of cam and is at the bottom of the pivot pin. If bushing is out of cam reinstall bushing
following the repair procedure. Figure 1

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves positioning the cam bushing back into the cam and bending the top edge of the bushing over the cam to lock in place.
1.
Open the door to the full open position.
2.
Clean the cam and bushing using Mopar Super Kleen (P/N 4318015), so that they are free of all gritty contaminants.
3.
Grease the cam pin using Mopar MP-50 (P/N 4549626) where it contacts the bushing.
