Emissions Maintenance Light: Service and Repair
After the recommended maintenance has been performed the mileage counter in the PCM must be reset. Reseting the SRI light without performing
the required maintenance may be in violation of federal law. Only after performing the required maintenance, should the SRI light be reset.
Resetting the SRI light requires the use of the DRBII or equivalent scan tool. SEE COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS for reset
procedures.
If the PCM is replaced, the current mileage must be entered into memory of the new controller. For more information SEE Powertrain

The manufacturer recommends performing the following procedures at these intervals:
60,000 miles
82,500 miles
Replace EGR Valve
Replace Oxygen Sensor
Replace EGR Tube (if equipped)
Clean EGR passage
Replace PCV Valve
