Injection Pump Supply Line - Replacement
Fuel Injection Pump Supply Line
The fuel injection pump supply line is located between the injection pump and the fuel filter/water separator housing. It is attached at each end with
copper/or rubber sealed banjo fittings and bolts.
REMOVAL
1. Clean the area around the line.
2. Remove the banjo fitting bolts at each end of the supply line.
3. Remove line from engine.
INSTALLATION
1. Install new copper/or rubber washers to the banjo fittings at each end of the line.
2. Install the line to the injection pump and fuel filter. Tighten the injection pump end to 33 Nm (24 ft lb). Tighten the filter end to 24 Nm (18 ft lb).
3. Bleed the line of air. Refer to the Air Bleed Procedure. See: Service and Repair/Air Bleed Procedure
