Throttle Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

Throttle Lever Linkage Adjustment

The linkage rod connecting the throttle lever to the fuel injection pump lever is adjustable.

CAUTION:  Before adjusting the fuel injection pump throttle linkage, verify that engine is set at correct low idle speed. Refer to Idle Speed Adjustment.

1. Verify low idle speed.

2. Disconnect throttle cable socket from lever ball stud on throttle lever.
