Using a grinder, grind a 10mm radius into the corner of the clutch pedal (Figure 3).

Paint any exposed metal on the clutch pedal to prevent corrosion.
9.
Using the procedures outlined in the appropriate Service Manual, remove the seat.
10.
Remove door sill and cowl trim covers.
11.
Remove bolts holding lower seat belt anchors to floor. Remove rear seat belt buckles if the vehicle is a Club Cab.
12.
Remove floor shift boot (if equipped).
13.
Remove rear closure panel trim on regular cab models or rear quarter trim panels on Club Cab models.
14.
Fold carpet or mat toward center of cab and remove through door opening.
15.
Install new carpet.
16.
Install rear closure panel trim on regular cab models or rear quarter trim panels on Club Cab models.
17.
Install floor shift boot (if equipped).
18.
Install bolts holding lower seat belt anchors to floor. Tighten bolts to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) of torque. On Club Cab models, install rear seat belt
buckles and tighten the retaining nuts to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) of torque.
19.
Install door sill and cowl trim covers.
20.
Install the seat (refer to appropriate Service Manual for proper installation).
