What Chrysler and your dealer will do...
Chrysler will repair your Ram truck free of charge (parts and labor). To do this, your dealer will install a check valve on the vacuum supply pump and
replace the power brake booster vacuum hose. The work will take about 1A hour to complete. However, additional time may be necessary depending on
how dealer appointments are scheduled and processed.
Extended Warranty...
In addition to this recall action, the warranty period on the other affected vacuum operated components in your vehicle is being extended to 7 years with
unlimited mileage. These components include the power brake booster, the heater and air conditioning vacuum controls, the speed control servo and on
4X4 vehicles, the transfer case and front axle vacuum controls. This means that if any of these covered components fail within 7 years (unlimited
mileage), your dealer will correct the problem free of charge. This extended warranty is limited to the same conditions defined in the original warranty.

Simply contact your dealer right away to schedule a service appointment. Ask the dealer to hold the parts for your vehicle or to order them before
your appointment.

Bring the enclosed Owner Notification Form with you to your dealer. It explains the required service to the dealer.
