Intake Air Plenum: Service and Repair
AIR CROSSOVER - REPLACEMENT
Remove (4) mounting capscrews (A).
Loosen the throttle control bracket lower mounting capscrew (B) and move the top end away from the engine.
Loosen the hose clamp (C).
Remove the air crossover and gasket.
Use new gaskets on the heater and new hoses and clamps as required to install the air crossover tube.
Torque Value:
Capscrews - 24 N-m [18 ft-lb]
Hose Clamps 5 N-m [44 in-lbs]
INTAKE MANIFOLD COVER AND GASKET - REPLACEMENT
Preparatory Steps

Remove the throttle control bracket and linkage.

Remove the high pressure fuel lines.
^
Disconnect the intake manifold heater.
