Oil Pump Replacement

1. Remove front cover as outlined under "Front Cover, Replace," then remove oil pressure relief valve plug, gasket, spring and valve. Discard gasket.

2. Remove oil pump cover and rotors.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Lubricate pump rotors in clean engine oil. Replace if worn or damaged.
b. Tighten oil pump cover bolts and relief valve plug to specifications.
