6. Using a new gasket, install upper intake manifold on lower manifold and torque bolts in sequence to 16 ft-lbs.

7. Using a new gasket, install throttle body and tighten bolts to specifications, then install closed crankcase ventilation and evaporation control
systems.
8. Connect heater hoses, bypass hose and vacuum lines, then install coil assemblies and ignition cables.
9. Connect accelerator linkage and cables for speed control and transmission kickdown, then install fuel lines.
10. Using a new gasket, install air cleaner housing, filter and cover. Tighten housing nuts to specifications.
11. Install A/C compressor, alternator and braces. Tighten all bolts to specifications, then install accessory drive belt.
12. Fill cooling system and connect battery.
