1.
Locate and inspect the crankcase ventilation (CCV) system fittings in the left and right valve covers (Figure 1).

If the GRAY CCV fitting is in the RIGHT valve cover, no further action is necessary.

If the GRAY CCV fitting is in the LEFT valve cover, continue with Step 2.
2.
Disconnect the CCV vacuum tubes from the CCV fittings and remove both fittings from the valve covers.
3.
Install the CCV fittings in the opposite valve cover from which they were removed.
IMPORTANT:
The fitting with an orifice is GRAY and it must be installed in the right valve cover (passenger side). The fitting without an orifice is BLACK and it
must be installed in the left valve cover (driver side).
4.
Connect the CCV vacuum tubing to both fittings.
Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles which have been serviced must be submitted on the DIAL System.
Claims submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service completions and provide dealer payments.
