Disconnect the left and right brake hose brackets from the axle (Figure 3).

Support the axle assembly with a hydraulic jack.
9.
Disconnect the right and left lower shock absorber bolts from the axle brackets.
10.
Disconnect the track bar from the axle bracket (Figure 4).
11.
Using a hydraulic jack, slowly lower the axle assembly. The axle will remain in the truck and will be temporarily supported by the control arms
and sway bar.
