XX - Service Adjustment

Repair Procedure

1.

With glass in the down position remove the door trim panel (6 screws).

2.

Remove the speaker assembly to provide access to the guide track (4 screws).

3.

Remove the delta sash and mirror assembly (3 bolts), let the sash assembly hang.

4.

Remove the inner beltline weatherstrip by pulling it up from the inner door edge flange.

5.

Remove the outer beltline molding (2 screws) pull up from outer door edge flange.

6.

Gut II pieces of 3M Silencer Strip, p/n 08585 or equivalent, to approximately 75 mm x 50 mm (3 x 2 inches).

7.

Place 6 pieces of silencer strip (length wise) over the down stepped sections of the outer door edge flange (Figure 1).

8.

Place 5 pieces of silencer strip (length wise) over the down stepped sections of the inner door edge flange (Figure 1).
