Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
Power Brake Booster - Removal
GAS ENGINE

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable from its post on the battery.
2. Remove the powertrain control module (PCM) mounting fasteners and move the PCM aside. See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control

3. Remove the master cylinder. See: Hydraulic System/Brake Master Cylinder/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Brake Master Cylinder

4. Disconnect the rear brake tubes (1) at the junction block (2). Install plugs at all of the open brake tubes.
