THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH A 2.5L ENGINE BUILT PRIOR TO JAN. 8, 1998 (MDH O1O8XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
A knocking noise may be heard coming from the front of the engine when the A/C compressor cycles or the oil pump may become damaged. This
condition may be caused by interference between the A/C bracket and the oil pump.
