Avenger V6-25L VIN N (1998) Control Arm Service and Repair

Be sure to tie the cord of the special tool to a nearby part.

Loosen the nut but do not remove it.
2. Make mating marks on the toe control arm and eccentric cam bolt before removing the bolt.
INSPECTION

Check the bushings for wear and deterioration.

Check the lower arm or toe control arm for bends or damage.

Check all bolts for condition and straightness.
INSTALLATION
Follow removal steps in reverse order for installation, noting the following.
1. Check the dust cover for cracks or damage by pushing it with finger.
2. Perform wheel alignment check and adjustment.
