Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Front Door Window Regulator - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Remove door trim panel See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Front Door Trim Panel - Removal.
NOTE: The window glass does not have to be removed. Lift it all the way up into the weather-strip and affix with tape to hold in place.
2. Remove carrier plate See: Service and Repair/Front Door Carrier Plate - Removal.
3. Remove the power window lift motor See: Front Door Window Motor/Service and Repair/Window Regulator Motor - Removal.
4. Loosen screws attaching regulator to the carrier plate.
5. Loosen bolts (1) attaching regulator to carrier plate.
6. Remove regulator from carrier plate.
