CENTER DUCT

1. Position the center instrument panel duct (2) to the instrument panel top cover (2) and engage the duct to the center of the cover. Make sure the

center duct is fully engaged to the cover.

2. Install the screws (3) that secure the center instrument panel duct to the instrument panel top cover. Tighten the screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in. lbs.).
3. Install the defroster duct See: Defroster Duct - Installation.
4. Install the demister ducts See: Instrument Panel Demister Duct - Installation.
5. Install the instrument panel top pad See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument

Panel Pad - Installation.

6. Install the outer instrument panel ducts (refer to OUTER DUCTS ).
7. Install the left and right instrument panel air outlets See: Air Register/Service and Repair/Air Outlet - Installation.
8. Install the instrument panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel -

Installation.

Instrument Panel Demister Duct - Removal

REMOVAL

WARNING: Disable the airbag system before attempting any steering wheel, steering column or instrument panel component diagnosis or

service. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery (ground) cable, then wait two minutes for the airbag system capacitor to
discharge before performing further diagnosis or service. This is the only sure way to disable the airbag system. Failure to follow
these instructions may result in accidental airbag deployment and possible serious or fatal injury.

NOTE: Take the proper precautions to protect the front face of the instrument panel from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.
