Front Door Hinge: Service and Repair
Front Door Hinge - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Open and support door on a suitable lifting device.
2. Disconnect wire connectors (5).
3. Remove door from vehicle See: Service and Repair/Front Door - Removal.
4. Transfer door to bench.
5. Mark position of upper hinge (3) and lower hinge (4) on the upper A-pillar and lower A-pillar with a grease pencil or other suitable device to ease

installation.

6. Remove bolts attaching hinge to door the upper A-pillar and lower A-pillar frame and remove the hinge.
