AW 150 Ramcharger V8-360 5.9L (1985)
(Applicable to Federal vehicles with dual air pumps, MDH 12-17-XX or after).

While holding the vapor containment trap door open, drill a 1/4" hole through both the round dimple of the air cleaner snorkel and the trap door.
The vapor containment trap door is located in the air cleaner snorkel that has the heated air vacuum motor. For "B" model trucks it is on the
passenger side, and for "D" model trucks it is located on the driver's side.

Install the supplied 6 mm - 1.0 nut, PN 6100516 and 6 mm x 14 - 1.0 bolt, PN 5240437, through the drilled hole and secure the trap door to the top
side of the air cleaner snorkel (Figure A).
STEP C - INSTALLING EXTERNAL BOWL VENT VALVE
(Applicable to 1985 heavy duty Federal vehicles with single air pump, MDH 8-14-XX to 12-16-XX). These trucks are not equipped with vapor storage
canisters.

Remove the diverter valve from the air pump and discard the two mounting bolts. Install the pressure top adapter, PN 4241252, between the
diverter valve and the air pump, using the supplied bolts, PN 6500499. The adapter should be installed with the pressure tap up and toward the
engine.
2.
Cut a 7.5" length of 3/8" hose, PN 4203421, and cut a 10.5" length of 3/16" hose, PN 4105167.
