REPAIR PROCEDURE
This repair replaces the choke element with one that has a different calibration. The choke control switch on the intake manifold is by-passed, allowing
battery voltage to the choke heater.
1.
Remove air cleaner.
2.
Place cam follower on highest step of fast idle cam.

Drill out three choke cover retaining rivets, using a #21 (.159") drill. Only drill enough to remove rivet heads (Figure 1).
