Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair
RWAL Hydraulic Valve Attachment
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Disconnect valve-to-sensor harness connector.
4. Disconnect brake lines at hydraulic valve and combination valve.
5. Remove valve attaching nuts and remove valve.
INSTALLATION
1. Connect brake lines to hydraulic valve.
2. Position valve on frame.
3. Install and tighten valve attaching nuts. Torque to 16-25 ft lb (22-34 Nm).
4. Connect valve-to-sensor harness wires.
5. Bleed the hydraulic valve and brakes.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Reinstall battery ground cable.
