On transmissions that utilize the lock up torque converter, the lock-up and overdrive solenoids are mounted in tandem on the valve body, inside the
transmission pan. On transmissions that do not utilize the lock-up torque converter, the overdrive solenoid is mounted alone to the valve body, inside the
transmission pan.
