Rear Door Striker: Service and Repair
Single Rear Cargo Door Striker
Latch Striker Removal/Installation
LATCH STRIKER REMOVAL
1. Open the rear cargo door.
2. Remove the latch striker and spacer from the door pillar.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the spacer and install the latch striker on the door pillar. Tighten the striker with 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.) torque.
2. Test and ensure that the latch and striker operate correctly.
DOOR WEDGES REMOVAL
1. As applicable, remove the wedge retaining screws from the door upper or lower inner panel.
2. As applicable, remove the wedge and spacer from the door upper or lower inner panel.
INSTALLATION
1. As applicable, position the spacer and the wedge on the door upper or lower inner panel with the holes aligned.
2. Install the wedge retaining screws. Tighten the screws with 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.) torque.
