Removal and Installation
Removal
1. Disconnect battery negative cable from battery.
2. Loosen accessory drive belts.
3. Remove fan/viscous drive assembly to water pump hub mounting bolts.
Radiator And Fan Shroud
4. Remove fan shroud mounting screws.
Radiator Fan R&I
5. Remove fan/viscous drive assembly and shroud from engine compartment.
6. Remove fan to viscous drive unit mounting screws.
Installation
1. Install fan to viscous drive unit. Tighten mounting screws to 23 Nm (17 ft-lbs) torque.
