SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Partial choke closing, resulting in a rich condition causing hard hot restarts in cool ambients, along with black smoke from the tailpipe.
DIAGNOSIS
With the engine warm, remove the air cleaner and verify that the choke blade is partially closed. If closed, continue with repair procedure. If not, refer to
the proper Diagnostic Test Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED
ALONG WITH THE PACKAGE LISTED BELOW, IT WILL BE NECESSARY ORDER AN AIR HORN GASKET FOR ADJUSTING THE FLOAT
LEVEL.
