Door Access Panel

5. Use a trim removal tool (or another appropriate flat-blade tool) and carefully pry the trim panel) (or, if applicable, the access panel) away from the

door inner panel. Remove the trim or access panel from the door.

Door Waterdam

6. Carefully separate the waterdam from the door inner panel at the areas with adhesive. Remove the waterdam from the door inner panel.
7. If necessary, remove the door pull handle and the upper trim panel.

INSTALLATION

1. Apply an appropriate adhesive/sealant to the waterdam edges before installing it.
2. Position the waterdam on the door inner panel and press it inward at the areas with the adhesive to attach it to the inner panel.
3. Position the trim panel (or, if applicable, the access panel) on the door inner panel and press inward around the perimeter of the panel to attach the

retainers to the inner panel.

4. Install the inside latch release handle.
5. Install the door armrest and inside latch release handle bezel. Tighten the armrest/bezel retaining screws with 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.) torque.
6. Install the window glass regulator handle, or (if equipped) the power switch housing. Tighten the housing retaining screw with 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.)

torque.

7. If removed, install the door upper trim panel and the pull handle. Tighten the retaining screws with 3 Nm (30 in. lbs.) torque.
