Cut the 12 gauge wire at terminal # 5 on the resistor block. Tape the wire on the harness side to insulate it. Using rosin core solder, solder and heat
shrink the 12 gauge DG/WT wire from the relay to the wire at the resistor block, see Figure 2.

Ground the eyelet terminal to the instrument panel using an existing screw.

Route the wire along the instrument panel wiring, and tie strap as required.

Disconnect the 50-way bulkhead by turning the jack screw in the engine compartment. Depress tabs and pull I/P side into the passenger
compartment.
