CAUTION: Make sure that the side of the banjo fitting (1) with the step machined into it is placed toward the caliper (away from bolt head)
upon installation.
5. Install the banjo bolt (3) connecting the brake flex hose (1) to the brake caliper (4). Install NEW washers (2) on each side of the hose fitting as the
banjo bolt is guided through the fitting. Thread the banjo bolt into the caliper and tighten it to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the tire and wheel assembly (1) See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Tires and Wheels -
Installation. Install and tighten the wheel mounting nuts (3) to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Remove the brake pedal holding tool.
