1. Inspect the bronze pivot bushings located on each side of the pedal assembly housing. Are both bushings found flush with the surface of the assembly
housing? (Fig 1).
a. YES> No Action is Required
b. NO > The pedal assembly will require replacement. Follow the remaining procedures to replace the assembly.
NOTE:
An inspection mirror can be used to inspect the inboard bushing.
