Trunk / Liftgate Hinge: Service and Repair
Removal
REMOVAL
1. Release liftgate latch and open liftgate.
2. Disconnect liftgate harness and washer hose..
3. Support liftgate with a suitable lifting device in the full open position on the side of the vehicle being serviced.
4. Remove the two screws that secure the liftgate hinge (1) to the liftgate.
5. Remove liftgate (1) from hinge (3).
