Remove the purge solenoid assembly (tubes attached) by disconnecting the solenoid from its mounting bracket (Fig. 1).

Closely inspect the lower rubber elbow that attaches to the purge solenoid. (Fig. 2).

If a witness mark or cut/puncture is found, replace the Hose Harness with pn 05273420AB. Carefully remove the damaged hose from the solenoid.
Use a small amount of soapy water to make replacement hose installation onto the purge solenoid easier.
