Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system.
2.
Remove air cleaner, then the power steering pump drive belt, if equipped.
3.
Raise and support vehicle.
4.
Disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold.
5.
Disconnect air injection tube assembly from exhaust manifold, then lower vehicle.
6.
Disconnect air injection tube assembly from air pump and position tube assembly aside.
7.
Unfasten power steering pump, if equipped, and position aside.
8.
Remove heat cowl from exhaust manifold.
9.
Remove exhaust manifold retaining nuts and the exhaust manifold.
10.
Reverse procedure to install.
