Vehicles With 114 AMP Alternators
Remove and discard the alternator ground wire. Figure 3 illustrates both 6 and 8 cylinder applications. Attach the eyelet of the new battery
ground cable to the alternator ground stud. Secure with the nut previously removed and torque this nut to 20 inch pounds.

All Applications Except 114 AMP Alternator
Locate the eyelet of the battery ground cable near the hold on the rear of the alternator next to the raised letters "GRD". Secure the eyelet by
using the supplied self-tapping screw, PN 6033516, and torque to 60 inch pounds (Figure 3-B).

Attach the new negative battery cable to the battery.
7.
Road test vehicle to be certain the condition has been corrected.
