Install the damper weight assembly, PN 4504045, on the new left drive shaft, PN 4384983, as shown in Figure 1. Torque the fasteners to 28 N-m
(21 foot pounds).

Install new drive shaft in the vehicle.

Check left drive shaft for damper weight locating shoulders. If the shoulders are not present, then drive shaft, PN 4384983, will have to be
installed.
2.
Install the damper weight, PN 4504045, on the drive shaft and torque the fasteners to 28 N-m (21 foot pounds).
3.
Install the new drive shaft in the vehicle if replacement was required.
