Compressor Clutch Coil: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1.
Remove a/c drive belt
2.
Disconnect compressor clutch wires from the harness.
3.
Remove compressor mounting bolts and lift compressor from its mounting bracket.
4.
Rotate the compressor assembly to gain access to the front of the compressor clutch. Support the compressor so that the weight of the compressor
is not on the hoses. DO NOT let the compressor hang from the hoses.

5.
Use a 13mm socket and a spanner wrench to remove the shaft nut and lock washer.
6.
Thread the front plate removal tool into the hub.

7.
Tighten the center bolt of the removal tool to pull off the front plate.

8.
Remove and save the shaft shim(s).
