Trailer Connector: Description and Operation
Right Turn Signal ON
CIRCUIT OPERATION
When the operator activates the right turn signal, circuit L62 supplies voltage to the contact side of the right stop/turn relay. The L62 circuit is
double crimped at the relay.
Voltage is passed through the CLOSED contacts in the right stop/turn relay to circuit L74. The L74 circuit connects from the relay to the trailer
tow connector.
The other branch of circuit L62 connects to the right combination relay, coil side. Voltage at this relay causes the contacts in the relay to switch
from the normal ON position to the OFF position.
Ground for the left combination relay is supplied on circuit Z1.
