Trailer Connector: Description and Operation
Left Turn Signal ON
CIRCUIT OPERATION
When the operator activates the left turn signal, circuit L63 supplies voltage to the contact side of the left stop/turn relay. The L63 circuit is double
crimped at the relay.
Voltage is passed through the CLOSED contacts in the left stop/turn relay to circuit L73. The L73 circuit connects from the relay to the trailer tow
connector.
The other branch of circuit L63 connects to the left combination relay, coil side. Voltage at this relay causes the contacts in the relay to switch
from the normal ON position to the OFF position.
Ground for the left combination relay is supplied on circuit Z1.
