install the jack pilot pin on the jack assembly (Figure 2). Secure it with the supplied clip.

Apply the provided Jacking Label (PN FE-1647-001) onto the inside of the jack storage compartment cover.

Select the appropriate Jacking Label (PN FE-1646-002 for long wheelbase models or PN FE-1646-003 for short wheelbase vehicles). Apply the
label over the existing Jacking Compartment Cover Instructions.

7.

Secure the jack in the storage compartment and install the storage compartment cover.

8.

Place the provided Jacking Instruction Card (PN FE-1648-001) in the glove box Owner's Manual folder.

B. Replace Hoist Jacking Pads

IMPORTANT:

Not all vehicles require hoist pad installation. Dodge Caravan LE, Caravan ES, Grand Caravan LE and Grand Caravan ES models are equipped with
lower body side cladding and already have the larger hoist pads.

Remove and discard the two (2) existing rear hoist pads (Figure 3).
